My Point by Chris Howard

Chris Howard is a USPTA Professional-1 certified instructor who has been playing the game of tennis since the age of 13, teaching since the age of 15 and been employed in almost every avenue of the tennis business; 5 star resorts, country clubs, indoor facilities, parks and rec, college settings, private courts and subdivsions as well as club ownership and management the past 40 years. He has lived in the Prescott area since 1985 when he as managing partner opened the Prescott Racquet Club.

He has written a weekly sports column for the Prescott Daily Courier since 1993. He enjoys promoting tennis to players of all ages and levels by sharing his knowledge and strategies that have made him a successful coach and competitor. He currently calls the Yavapai College tennis facility his home and runs a full gammet of programs there which can be viewed on this web site. He is married to Adriana, has 3 grown children and 9 grandkids, as well as 3 pre-teens in the Prescott public school system.
